Memory card nostalgia
It was one of those lazy days off where I nonchalantly began clearing off some old memory cards for some upcoming video space---I'm not always the first person to format my cards since I normally work off of my two largest cards. It got me a bit nostalgic when I found some stuff on an older card from last summer in the Quad-Cities.
It's crazy looking back at old assignments and still remembering so much detail about them. I feel like I not only remember the people and places so vividly, but even the obscurities and emotions of each assignment and each photo. I can practically picture myself and all of my internal thoughts/emotions when I was taking each frame. I always wonder if other photographers reflect the same way....or maybe I'm just a little bit nostalgic. Nonetheless, another reason I love this field so much.

It's also pretty motivating to look at old images and think about how I could have shot something differently or better.....there is always room for improvement. Maybe I'll dig into the old PC next time I'm home and pull out the weird HDR photography or scan some film.
